Unforeseen Circumstance

  • Pickleball Academy Singapore and your pickleball coach reserve the right to cancel or postpone the Pickleball lesson for unforeseen circumstance or safety reasons.

  • If the class has commenced and has to be called off between 1 to 30 minutes into your lesson, it will be counted as a half-hour lesson, which will be reimbursed in the next lesson whereby extended court booking is available. Otherwise, your leftover half hour will be pro-rated during payment for your next class package.

  • Once the class has commenced and has to be called off more than 30 minutes into your lesson, it will be counted as a full-hour lesson.

  • The lesson time will be counted until everyone (student and coach) has exited the tennis court and reached the shelter. If the student wishes to wait to see if the weather clears up, the waiting time will be included in the count as well.

 

Attendance and Makeup Policy

  • For Private classes, you are required to inform your pickleball coach and the PAS Admin at least 48 hours before the lesson should you wish to postpone your lesson. However, you will have to forfeit the court fee and booking fee, if any, regardless of the cancellation reason.

  • Rescheduling or cancellations between 47 to 24 hours before the lesson will be charged 50% of the lesson fee + court fee + booking fee, regardless of cancellation reason.

  • Rescheduling or cancellations less than 24 hours will be charged 100% of the lesson fee + court fee + booking fee, regardless of cancellation reason.

  • For cancellations of lessons held at public courts, you will still have to make the necessary reimbursements as stated above, even if we repurpose the court for other students' lessons. You are not guaranteed entitlement of the court usage for your own casual play, but may be offered to by PAS as an act of goodwill on a case-by-case basis (the same time slot for casual play is not guaranteed as well).

  • The cancellation made by the client is only permitted up to a maximum of once in each 4 hours package, or twice in each 10 hours package. Any additional cancellations, regardless of the duration of prior notice, will be chargeable 100%, regardless of cancellation reason.

  • For Open Group classes, there will be no compensation or make-up lessons regardless of the reason. A replacement may be sent in your place if you are unable to come due to medical reasons or emergencies.

  • Lost time due to the student’s tardiness will not be compensated or replaced.

Private Lessons Package Expiration Dates

  • You are expected to commit to consecutive weekly private lessons upon commencement
